  • Well, we caught Disco with plenty of snow and sunshine for our 3 days in early March. Grooming was better than in the past. What a great ski hill. Folks have no idea how big thia place really is. Exce...  more »
  • We have skied all over the Pacific Northwest and find that Discovery is our favorite. We are weekday skiers so find that we can ski right up to the lift and make another great run. The groomers do a s...  more »
  • We love skiing at Discovery Mountain, the views are breathtaking! The cafeteria makes the best chili bowls and the price won't hurt your pocketbook. We ended the day staying at The Broadway hotel in P...  more »

  • Excellent local ski resort. The terrain is nicely divided between front and backside for easier and harder terrains, respectfully. While Discovery does not have the longest slopes to roam, the lift lines are short and I was able to ski hard all day without boredom. The chili in the base's dining hall is pretty good too! Grab a beer while you're there.
  • Best and most difficult skiing I've experienced in Montana so far (compared to Bridger, Great Divide, Big Sky). Great range of easy to extremely difficult runs. So much fun!!! Does not get overly crowded and the employees are very friendly and accommodating.
  • Good runs, family friendly. Chair lifts are a bit slow and some runs are geared more towards skiing than boarding. With small modifications it could be a lot more boarder freindly. Still a fun place though...
  • Nice family friendly ski hill with a range of runs and a great value. Season pass for only $299? I am hooked. Not to mention the simply amazing cookies.
  • Some of the best glade skiing in the American West... This ski resort is truely an undiscovered gem. Sadly I moved to Washington state, but I drive back to Montana just to ski here... It is THAT AMAZING.
