  • Incredible place to visit. One of my all time favorite wineries. Always look forward to visiting.
  • We were looking for a winery coming out of camping in the Shenandoah and while this one fit the bill, the experience was solid mediocrity. The wine tasted like wine but the tasting room was dead. That, in addition to the theme of confederacy throughout, ensures we will not be back! But not some life to the tasting room and more comfortable furniture for lounging!
  • We tasted 7 white wines, 3 reds, and the Adieu-late harvest Vidal Blanc. 11 wines on their tasting menu! This winery reminded us of the Finger Lakes with the amount of really tasty white wines. If you like white wines, then this is a must visit vineyard.
  • We had a tour scheduled for our out of town guests, and Grey Ghost was so very accommodating! Our guests were thrilled with their experience and we are so very happy that you were able to show them around!
  • Grey Ghost has wonderful wines! Their staff is informative, they value local history, are very knowledgeable about wines and are very friendly. My only issue was not the winery, but the bus load of guests who were loud, pushy and rude. If you are part of a tour group, keep in mind other patrons visiting the venue are just as valuable as you are.
