  • We had a splendid experience at Gray Ghost! Their wines were delicious, especially Ranger and the Reserve. We bought a few bottles of wine and a glass to enjoy with a picnic.  more »
  • Grey Ghost has wonderful wines! Their staff is informative, they value local history, are very knowledgeable about wines and are very friendly. My only issue was not the winery, but the bus load of guests who were loud, pushy and rude. If you are part of a tour group, keep in mind other patrons visiting the venue are just as valuable as you are.
  • The wines were exceptional! The service was also excellent, and their grounds were beautiful! I love the history of the winery, and can't wait to bring fellow history buffs here to share exceptional wine with a wonderful ambiance.
  • This place offers around 10 wines for a $5 tasting. About half are whites or reds and a dessert type. The tasting room is small and will hold about 8 or more at a time per table. The rest is open space or lounging area on the second floor. Outside there is a pleasant seating area and a large apple tree to relax under. Parking is a gravel lot and very spacious and flat unlike other wineries. As of 2016 Va Go pass provides free tasting. Though at first they did not seem to understand what my card was for. Recommended double check the site for instructions on using the pass.
  • Favourite winery in all of Northern Virginia bar-nun. If you want to see history in a glass. This is the place to come. Family friendly and young ones are not "run off". Our lil girl is well known by the owner and staff. We always feel like family when we enter! Love this place!
  • Staff was great! Really liked the owners. Took a tour of the vineyard and the explanation of how the wine is made and stored.the ground are beautiful and nicely manicured, the lounge upstairs id very nicely done.
