  • This winery is right on 211 and is named after Colonel Mosby of the Confederate Army (nicknamed the Gray Ghost by Lincoln). The owner's daughter was our server and was extra nice. She made my friend a...  more »
  • Enjoy A ride in Gods country. Slow down look around and stop in for some great wine and some awesome people. It will take you back to the Civil War days. History & wine makeing It's Worth the trip!!!
  • This place offers around 10 wines for a $5 tasting. About half are whites or reds and a dessert type. The tasting room is small and will hold about 8 or more at a time per table. The rest is open space or lounging area on the second floor. Outside there is a pleasant seating area and a large apple tree to relax under. Parking is a gravel lot and very spacious and flat unlike other wineries. As of 2016 Va Go pass provides free tasting. Though at first they did not seem to understand what my card was for. Recommended double check the site for instructions on using the pass.
  • Favourite winery in all of Northern Virginia bar-nun. If you want to see history in a glass. This is the place to come. Family friendly and young ones are not "run off". Our lil girl is well known by the owner and staff. We always feel like family when we enter! Love this place!
  • Very nice staff and good wines. Gewurtztraminer was much better than Seyval Blanc. Didn't try the red ones.
  • Staff was great! Really liked the owners. Took a tour of the vineyard and the explanation of how the wine is made and stored.the ground are beautiful and nicely manicured, the lounge upstairs id very nicely done.
  • Excellent wines, and the tasting was wonderful.
