  • How many times does a person have an opportunity to hike " up " to visit a cave? Be prepared. It's an amazing hike up to the top of the mountain to take a cave tour. A wonderful day hike. Great views....  more »
  • Of seven different national park sites visited in the West these last few weeks, including Sequoia and Dinosaur, Timpanogos was one of my favorites. Because of the frequent guided tours here, there are many rangers and they are almost all incredibly friendly! The facilities, trail, and cave itself are well maintained. The views up to the cave are beautiful and the features inside the cave are stunning. Bring some food and picnic at the tables across the street from the visitor center along a rushing creek.
  • A steep hike up, but well worth it. Beautiful location with amazing caves. You have to buy tickets online before you go. Also plan on leaving early to make sure you hike up there on time. The path is steep but fully paved.
  • The hike is a pretty easy, and very beautiful! The cave is a great family activity! The rangers are all nice and great to have as your guides through the cave. A great inexpensive activity for people of all ages.
  • We hiked up to the cave. It was an experience well worth the effort. The guide was helpful and knowledgeable. Don't take a lot of gear up there. My backpack was a little hard to manage while I was in the cave.
  • This place has a very cool cave but the only downside is that it takes you forever to get up,but it is still worth seeing the cave. So I highly recommend putting this on your to do list.
