  • I am by far no pro when it comes to the game of kings. We enjoyed a round here and it was a nice course. Good wide fairways that I loved to miss. The greens were slower than what they looked. We had s...  read more »
  • ok, to be clear i love golf but i don't take it too seriously. When you play Oak Marsh you need to step up your game. the fairways are very narrow. there are tons of bunkers or as i call them "sand pi...  read more »
  • I enjoyed the golf course and under normal conditions I would probably rank it higher but they have just done a ton of maintenance and it's simply not right to charge $100 here right now. Two holes ha...  read more »
  • What a wonderful experience!!! I would highly recommend this resort to anyone in and abroad. The food is appealing to the eyes as well as the stomach. Hospitality is definitely a 5. I was a part of RNA group and all of us were in awe. It was beyond our expectations. A special shout out to Marlena Short who added the dessert to my stay.
  • This is a great getaway, very secluded surrounded by beautiful cypress that gives you a feeling of peace away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I recommend this place for anyone. I would have given 5 stars. The only thing I didn't like was no access to simple food like a deli at the hotel that you could get cheap food while on the beach as that could save a bunch of money This place rakes in the $$ as everything is so expensive even for cheap tasting food, not to mention the 21% surcharge for in room dining. Do not order food to room, it is double the price that they have on the menu. Tip for guests coming to stay here, go to grocery store and stock up on snacks and simple foods, plus get a cooler as this place has a horrible refrigerator in room that is around 40 to 50 degrees. This will save you a ton of money. We paid hundreds of $$ for really crappy simple foods. I do love the ambiance of the resort and definitely recommend it.
  • We recently attended the conference center for an event and had a great experience. Very friendly staff, clean and spacious venue, good variety of food, reasonably priced rooms, and well coordinated event. Highly recommend!
  • Perfect location. The rooms provide a great view of the ocean, thought not very spacious. Lots to do/lots of activities to keep you busy. Nice family atmosphere, but also a great place to go as a getaway
  • Photo is from the balcony of our room. You can see the main pool and part of the "Serernity" pool which is for adults 18 and over. The beach is visible as well. Cabanas and umbrellas are available. A bonfire was held on the beach on Friday ( a small fire in the sand) and smores were provided. Outside the hotel there are various amenities such as golf (reasonable and junior golfers 15 and under play free with a paying adult), bike rentals ($25 per day), miniature golf and ping pong. Great restaurants are within 15 minutes. The pool bar has great food and delicious Pina Coladas. The lobby bar has great appetizers and entertainment (piano player, etc).
