The putting greens were in great shape but the fairways were in very rough shape. The reason for the negative review is I got through 15 holes and then they decided to send one of their Friday outings out with two foursomes on whole 15,16,17 and 18 so I was not able to finish my round. The members were very polite and said that was not right what the pro shop did and go inside to the pro shop and complain. I’m not that type of person to complain but just very frustrated after plane 15 holes and paint for 18 and the people in the pro shop seem to not care. According to the members If you are visiting and are not a member do not try to play golf on Wednesday and Friday mornings due to outings.

Went with my granddaughter and had a awesome time! Friendly staff, very helpful and made the outing memorable! Definitely a permant choice for golfing

Amelia River is a wonderfully laid out, varied and always challenging design. Although located close to Fernandina Beach Municipal Airport, you would never guess that fact, given the very natural and quiet environment in which these well crafted holes unfold.

Great course, in terrific condition, and a very friendly & helpful staff. Some really wonderful golf holes - challenging as well as pictureisk. The 17 the hole, with it's island green, is great to play!
