  • I had been here before and enjoyed the setting. My wife and I recently took our 2 year old to this zoo, and it was a lot of fun. There is not too much to see, like the zoos in Houston or Dallas, and you are able to get really close to the animals. For the overall experience, and for a morning or an afternoon visit, this zoo is amazing. I would recommend for kids or for adults. The nearby playgrounds and Wonderland make for a great family day trip.
  • This is a nice little zoo. It took about 2 hours to walk with kids. Not big, but well cared for.
  • It was fun. I thought it would have been bigger but we enjoyed it anyway. The bear exhibit is really nice.
  • This is a small zoo but what they do have is great. You can get amazingly close to the big cats.
  • It had been a while since I had been here. I remember going when I was just five, back when you had to enter through a fake rock tunnel and right away you would see the penguins. The rock is still there but you don't enter through it anymore and no penguins. But they have added so many more animals and habitats. It's really nice. And they charge now, when before it was free.
