  • What an interesting & informative experience. Very well done. Would recommend to all ages. Did not take tour, but the movie was excellent.  more »
  • I did not expect this Museum to be as interesting as it was. All of the exhibits are interesting and educational. Be sure to take a free tour of the nearby Melvin Price Lock and Dam.  more »

  • Poorly marked, limited parking, closes early we were there at 4:30 but the gates were already closed. Nice roof top nature walk with a great view of the river and dam. I think you enter through the gates but they were closed and said employees only.
  • Out of the way, but this is a museum run by the Army Corps of Engineers. As part of the museum, you can tour one of the lock and dam systems on the Mississippi River! Make sure to call ahead to see if a barge is going through the lock.
  • Very informative. All of the staff were very friendly. The tour was by far the most informative. Bummer we didn't see a barge. Maybe next time. They said in the fall the Eagles are soaring and the barges are many.
  • Tours take you right out to the action. Museum has lots of historic and natural exhibits.
  • Great educational displays. Cool tour of the lock and dam system.
