  • You can stretch this relatively short hike into a longer workout by taking the Beaver Pond Trail up and Brook Trail down. If you're just getting into hiking this is a good warmup for Monadnock and the 4kers of New Hampshire. The views of Lake Winnipesaukee from the summit are beautiful. There is a decent parking lot at the bottom. On a popular day, the parking lot spills onto the sides of route 11.
  • Lovely place for a hike. Great views of the lake from top and lot of blueberries if you happen to be here in july/aug
  • I had a fun time hiking with my friends. We went at a pretty vigorous pace so it was tiring but the view at the end was well worth it.
  • Excellent hike. Not to hard, but it's enough to get some good exercise in. The view is spectacular, and the surrounding areas are great as well. One of my favorite mountains.
  • Fantastic view from the summit of the lake. Just under an hour hike on the blue trail and not too bad for a beginner.
