  • I found out about this place from a friend, and I'm so very glad I did. My sister, my parents, my seven year old nephew and I all had an amazing time checking out this wonderful place. The day we were...  more »
  • I was somewhat skeptical the first time I visited Boulder Ridge. I expected a few animals similar to the former Deer Park near Muskegon. I was totally blown away. The place is nicely laid out, clean a...  more »
  • This place cares about it's inhabitants. Not a "zoo" that is only for attraction purposes - these people are here for the animals benefits not our entertainment. I love supporting them every summer. W...  more »

  • Our family loves Boulder Ridge! We spend quite a bit of time there each summer, and our kids never get tired of it. It is a neat and clean park, and the animals are nice and close so little ones can see them well. We also love that we can bring a picnic lunch with us to enjoy while in the park. Great place for families!
  • Excellent laid back zoo experience. Not as hectic as other zoos. The staff is great and prices are affordable. Doesn't feel like a resort experience, no pushy people asking you to spend more money on experiences every turn. There's no food or concessions, but you'll hardly notice. We've done the bus ride experience several times and it's fun every time!
  • This is a great place to take the family. It is a very well done private zoo. It's got plenty of animals to see, including giraffes and kangaroos; and the kids will love it. You can feed and/or pet several of the animals too. Also, it's not a huge place, so the whole experience will not wear you out. We get the membership every year. It's a great place to take the family, and they allow outside food, and even have a good-sized picnic area with tables.
  • Kids really liked this zoo. The best part was the feeding. You can purchase carrot sticks and lettuce and hand feed giraffes, camels, goats, and a few others. But bring cash! They take credit cards for admission but cash only at the feeding station. ($3 for a cup of carrots, $1 per lettuce leaf) You are not allowed to bring your own food in to feed the animals.
  • Loved loved loved this little zoo. It's great for younger children who have short attention spans. I took my son and nephew who are both 2 years old and they loved feeding and petting the animals. We will definitely be going back. *****Bring cash to buy food to feed the animsls.*****
