  • This is by far the most wonderful place to take my grandson. It's like being in a faraway country. Zebras, giraffes, alligator, bird house, and a wonderful narrated wagon ride through the park. Feed t...  more »
  • We were pleasantly surprised the first time we went here with some of our grandchildren. We have been since and it's always an enjoyable experience!  more »
  • I wish I hadn't waited so long to take my family here! I had heard the park was "a guy's backyard zoo", so I never felt compelled to visit. Was I wrong! This is a guy's backyard zoo dream come true. T...  more »

  • Really cool zoo set in the middle of nowhere. Plenty of variety for animals. Walk in aviary, safari tour, and many animals you can get up close to and even pet if you want. I came here for a birthday party for my young cousin, and even I, had as much fun as any child there. The animals even seem happy, which is important to look at when it comes to zoos. Overall, this is a fun place, with plenty to see and explore.
  • Boulder Ridge is known as one of the hidden gems of West Michigan for a reason. From small spiders, frogs, monkeys, and baby alligators, to large snakes, ostriches, adult alligators and giraffes! Walk into the screened in area with inquisitive birds, it's an experience you won't forget, same goes for the safari themed bus tour. There really is something for everyone here! Feed the animals for a minimal charge... its worth it! Parking might be challenging, but don't let the crowded parking discourage you. The grounds feature some rides, plenty of tables under covered spaces for a picnic lunch, and is nicely spaced out and easy to come back to animal exhibits that might have been too busy at the time. Boulder Ridge is ultimately a place to enjoy with your family, and appreciate nature from all over the world.
  • This place is great! Plenty of really cool animals and it's all for a good cause. These animals are rescued and bred for repopulating. It's a great little gem. I've lived in the area my whole life and never knew about this place. You get right up close to most of the animals and the kids will love it.
  • This year was my frist time visiting, and it was just amazing my kids loved it. They had many animals to see and not at all boring. We went when the zoo hosted a Halloween event and it was $9 per person adult/child, and 2 under free..... Would definitely return next year to visit...
  • We went on closing day, a Saturday, while they were doing their Halloween celebration so it was very busy. But we loved it. My baby loved petting and feeding the animals with carrots we bought at Boulder Ridge. We will definitely go back next year!
