  • This Beach is like it must have been in old times. We took our blankets down the beach several hundred yards and set ourselves up. It was quiet except for the Gulls. A beautiful quiet experience. Lots...  read more »
  • I drove 12 miles out of my way off US Hwy 98 to take my wife out here. Pretty much for just another look at the ocean. During summer, the bugs will eat you alive on the nature walk, so take plenty of ...  read more »
  • Very nice park. Super staff that was great with our late check in. Beautiful beach to walk on. Extremely nice facilities!!! Definitely would stay again. (One note, the back lot is very difficult to negotiate at night)
  • Beautiful park with hiking trails and view of Ochlochonee Bay and Gulf Beaches. No camping use only!
  • I enjoy road trips and state parks, this park is so desolate that you could see imprints from the snakes that had slithered in the sand. Beautiful beach, you feel like you discovered it.
  • It's so pretty and I love all of the birds.
  • Maybe is was the time of year or day...but this was the worst beach I have ever seen. The sand flies (or whatever they are called) drew blood (no, I am NOT kidding). I brought three different kinds of bug repellent and none of them worked at all. For the record, I do not normally have issues with mosquitoes, etc. The water was awful and the "beach" was nonexistent. The drop was pretty extreme four feet into the water. Over-all, just a pitiful place. The only good thing is that no one was there - which may have been a pretty good clue.
