  • Great place to walk and fish. Take bug spray. Saw a gator and a lot of nats. Good fishing an hour before tide change at the far end of the park.  more »
  • We were referred here by a local. Signage off the main road was poor. This should have been referred to as a parking area and not a state park. A few nice picnic tables, 2 port a potties and a fishing...  more »
  • Bald point is a charming beach to walk along ang enjoy fresh air and nature. Personally I would interpret the entrance fee as parking and maybe to keep the crowds away. Good way to preserve the park.  more »

  • Nice state park! Very clean and beautiful. Fished from the pier for a few hours for redfish and caught nothing, but people next to me were catching fish. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. Watch out for the jellyfish washed up on the beach!
  • Great clean beaches. Nice visitors on beach near us. So scenic. Many sea creatures and bird species.
  • Found this little gem not too long ago, if there ever was a better beach I haven't been there yet. Definitely off the beaten path but worth the drive, especially if your headed to alligator point anyway, might as well stop by, there is a park entrance fee, only a couple bucks, and if you have a state park pass they are good for any state park in Florida, there is also plenty of places to pull over on the way there and plenty of beach in both directions. I have never not caught a fish here, sea trout, black bass, Spanish mackerel, shark, redfish, black drum, even a triple tail from land! Tons of oyster bars that attract a lot of baitfish that you can easily catch with a cast net, and plenty of room to fish or just lay out and enjoy, best part is there is limited parking so it never gets over crowded! When the full moon comes the tide goes out an incredible amount, you can damn near walk across the bay to shell point! And you can walk at least a quarter mile or more out from the beach.its really something to see, there are also tons of horse shoe crabs around.
  • One of Florida's best kept secrets. There are nature trails, for bird watching, hiking, kayaking. There are piers for fishing, or you have easy access to shoreline fishing too. Also you have a great length of shoreline access to the beach for swimming. There are also picnic shelters throughout.
  • Two separate parking areas, good shell location also breakwalls to fish off of. The park hike has a unique feel with some bogs to cross.
