  • Super pretty beach! It is a really calm place to go and relax with friends and family. In addition to the beach there are tons of places to go hiking or biking if that is something you're interested in doing. I didn't give it 5 stars because, in comparison to other beaches, I didn't think the water here was as clear and picturesque (could have just been the day/time of year I went, I don't know). But it was beautiful nonetheless and I still recommend it!
  • Nice beach, has facilities. Never seen it crowded. In general a good place to go for a swim, although be aware it's shallow out pretty far so you may have to go out a long way to find deep water, then you have to watch for currents.
  • So close to Tallahassee, only an hour away unlike all the other beaches which are 2 hours or more. Great amenities and parking. The only reason I didn't give this beach five stars is because the sand in the water felt weird on my feet because of the algae and the beach itself is smaller than some people may prefer. If you are looking for a quick escape to sand and sea this is the place to be!
  • It's a calm quiet beach, clean from trash and great for quick trips or over flow from Alligator Point. Lots of wildlife activities along the water and beach dunes. Recommended for those that like the sounds of nature and a quick swim. Remember to "Leave No Trace".
  • Came for the beaches and birds. Also because it's not a tourist trap. Very nice and pretty secluded. $4 entrance. Showers and well maintained bathrooms. Sand bars go out far in some places. I'll be back to hike and take pictures.
