This almost hidden treasure is so worth the admission price. The kids have plenty of hands-on things to do. The playground is cool too. About 95% stroller friendly... take a picnic lunch and wear... more »
A must see while in Alliance. Being away from Alliance for awhile I didn’t even know this existed. But this was a perfect activity for my six year old son. He absolutely loved the butterfly exhibit... more »
Very eclectic and interesting for all ages. Our Elementary school age kids especially enjoyed it. The butterfly House doesn't have those 10-15 butterflies, more like hundreds or more. The science exhibits for kids are also very engaging. There is plenty of shade for the hot summer days. if you're going to go here more than once, I recommend doing the family year package it's a much better value.
Heavenly place with all the flowers and butterflies! People that work there love their job! Has a great playground, butterfly garden, amazing plants garden and welcome center! Beautiful flowers!! Lots of birds also! I can't wait to go back! September 15th is the butterfly release!
Today was our first time visiting this wonderful place. We loved it! Came specifically for the monarch butterfly release. Amazing! Made great memories with my daughter.
This is a wonderful place to learn and explore. There is a garden house exclusively for hands on learning, where you will find a parrot who may talk to you. The butterfly garden is wonderful, I've never seen so many butterflies before. The Caterpillar house has more hands on toys and videos to watch butterfly life cycles. There are also two playgrounds on the property, you will want to bring a change of clothes because digging is encouraged at the larger one where the tree house is. You can rent the pavillion for weddings and other parties, it is beautiful. There is also a walking trail that loops the property. It will be muddy if it had been raining.
So much about this wonderful place my family loves to visit! We love the learning center, the butterfly house, the Heirloom Garden, the Secret Garden, the newer play area, and the hiking trails. We purchased a membership because there is so much to benefit from!!! I purchased tomato plants from the nursery and they are doing fantastic! Couldn't beat the BOGO sale on the tomatoes and they are extremely prolific/thriving! I highly recommend all my friends to check this place out and many have also purchased memberships after visiting.
