Had a great time at Halloween Haunt with my wife and our two teenagers, both 15yo. We attended on Saturday October 15 and I was a little nervous that the lines would be extremely long on a Saturday bu... read more »
After reading reviews for this park we were a little hesitant to go but we had already bought tickets through my daughters school earlier in the year so we had to use them. We went on Sunday, Sept 25t... read more »
It has been 20 years since I have been to Dorney Park. We decided to try out the "Haunt" on Sunday, October 9th. We started out at 11 a.m. and stayed until 10:00 p.m. SO much fun! I had a blast in the... read more »
Despite the fact that it started pouring shortly after I decided to go to the water park I had a blast. I absolutely loved that they pulled out ponchos available for purchase quickly!!!!!!! I also paid for the clam bake option that have on weekends. And that was amazing. The only reason im not giving it five starts is because during the clam bake the beginning it was just a little bit disorganized. But they did a fabulous job in the end !
The park was fine and nice but was ripped off and I'm pissed! DO NOT USE A BANK CARD HERE! I went to buy a souvenir all day mug and was, eventually, charged for three of them at $15.89 a piece!! I asked for one and the girl said the machine wasn't acting correctly and scanned my card three times, which I found out that night I was indeed charged three times for one damn mug! So.... I went to guest services and explained everything and even showed them my bank account being charged three separate times for $15.89 each time! They said "we don't handle food and beverage so, here's the lady's email who does and she can handle it"! So email her, nothing back!!! Send it again, nothing back! Now I'm pissed I paid $47.00 for a freaking mug!!! Inconsiderate as to even at least email me back, haven't even gotten that! Been ripped off and I'm livid about it cause in not well off and could use the money smh!
Dorney is my home park, and this place is sure to give you some screams. The only turn off is Dinosaurs Alive. It's really boring. I would consider this the perfect family theme park. Older kids head straight for the coasters. They also have a good amount of regular thrill rides, too. Once that flip you upside down, ones that spin you, and calmer ones for parents that have no clue what they're getting into. The water park is perfect for summer. There are two wave pools and a ton of water slides. There are also a lot of kiddie water sections for younger kids who are too short to ride waterslides. There is also camp and planet snoopy with flat rides for the kids who want to ride instead of sitting on the parents lap. And if the want to ride a coaster, Woodstock is a fast ride that looks small but goes around 3 times for a lasting ride. This park will leave tons of memories and you'll want to go back!
Great, clean, fun park! Much better than six flags new England. We had a blast. Though there are not many rollercoasters, there are 3 outstanding ones, Hydra, Talon, and Steel Force. Talon is the smoothest inverted coaster I've ever been on! The park has very good food options and a cute looking kiddie area. Defiantly recommend it! But try to visit on a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, when crowds are the lowest.
My family loved everything about this park. We read reviews and went on a wednesday- we barely waited in line for anything. Planet Snoopy will be a treasured memory for both of my kids- plenty of rides for my toddler that our older son also enjoyed. The waterpark was clean and quite refreshing- it was over 90 and very busy in this area so we skipped the slides and hung out in the wave pool- our kids were happy! Tips: bring your own bottles- they have water refill stations for no charge. Also, lockers are expensive- we brought small hotel sized towels to keep our backpack light and that worked well. Bring snacks for the kids to eat while walking between attractions as waits for food can be a bit longer, especially if hungry.
