  • Well known nature preserve (about 90 acres) off Franklin Turnpike in Allendale. About a mile long trail around the lake with 3 lookout towers to take in the sights. Turtles. Fish, birds, etc. Early mo...  more »
  • Big advice: I suggest that you go when the weather has been dry, as Celery Fields (as I call it), tends to be muddy on the driest of days, especially one side, which seems to be closest to the marsh l...  more »
  • Nature at its best. Funny thing is, I have lived in Bergen County for close to 16 years and only visited for the first time recently. Looking forward to returning.

  • Nature park with a walking trail. Several points at which you can sit while looking at the scenery.
  • It's not a park, but a wildlife sanctuary... The object is to keep it in a natural state as possible... 'Was there yesterday... Five stars plus from Andy and I! Thanks to all the great volunteers! Our hats go off to you!
  • A true wildlife hidden gem. From wild turkeys, woodpecker, ducks, deer, frogs , dragonflies and so much more. Bring a camera and capture the beauty of this place
  • my mom goes to walk here and it is great she lost 100 pounds in a year from walking here the terrain is flat and is a .89 mile trail and i wrote this review post it to the waldwick moms face book page for my mom
  • About 45mins to hour walk....Warning may take longer if you're enjoying the wildlife
