  • This museum is incredible--it feels as though you are stepping back in time to a pharmacy that catered to the Washington's and Lee families--while serving the community for 100's of years. I LOVE that...  read more »

  • This tour would have been better maybe if i were not the only person on the tour. The historical store fixtures are vary interesting. When I tour places like this, I think about what will be left in 200 years of today's special places. Who thought to keep all the records? The notes for an order from Martha Washington? The cabinets still stocked with herbs and the tools of the trade? It really is quite interesting.
  • A great historic museum in Alexandria. The attic is really interesting to see!
  • The tour guide is the coolest person ever! At least when I went there, she went very into detail with everything and included her personal opinions on parts of the shop and the all-mighty "Meat Juice".
  • This is a super cool and inexpensive place to learn about the first American Pharmacies. You will feel like you have truly traveled back in time. Some of the stories you will hear will make your jaw drop. The tour guide was very knowledgeable but spoke a little bit fast for my pace. I could have spent more time in this place.
  • Really cool museum, our tour guide Carol was awesome!
