  • This is a beautiful place to relax on the porch and read a book or soak up the sun while having a picnic on the lawn. There is a nice flower garden which is a good spot to snap some photos of your kid...  more »

  • This place is absolutely spectacular, plus it's absolutely free! From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day, come and visit what George Washington considered to be one of the best views of the Potomac River. The gardens and grounds are gorgeous no matter what season you choose to visit. There is a Children's Garden specifically designed for younger children to play, explore, get messy, and immerse themselves in nature. There is also an edible foods garden, a prairie grass section, and an abundance of flowers wherever you look. There is a bathroom on site, inside the building itself, and the parking is easy and free as well. Truly a gem in this area.
  • Beautiful gardens and great staff! I love performing here.
