  • Beautiful great for pictures quiet lots of wildlife. Leaves changing colors. Easy access off the beaten path. Probably is amazing in the springtime. Would come back if not for poor hotel choices
  • Our high school fishing team enjoyed a day here on Lake Martin during our last tournament. The park is very well maintained and the staff is always so friendly. We look forward to returning soon.

  • Been coming to Wind Creek for almost 40 years. We were told than you are about to be able to reserve even water spots. Guess we'll see how that goes, may put a halt to spur of the moment camping trips for fear you won't be able to get a water spot without a reservation.
  • My parents took me since I was small, I am 61 I have taken my kids now they are grown and now we still go and camp every year!! Both my parents are gone now but oh what great memories we have as a Family!! Love this park! Clean, beautiful,
  • Wind Creek is great. I don't go as often as a lot of people, but it's a really neat experience. You're right there on, or within walking distance of beautiful Lake Martin and your neighbors are very friendly. You feel safe to let your children ride their bikes to the common playground area or over to the beach area. And, it's affordable to stay there.
  • It's the Gulf State Park of middle AL.. This park gets super crowded in a hurry. If you get there at night, be very careful not to slip your trailer into the ditch. The entrance to the one way access roads are pretty narrow and finding signs telling you where your damn site is, is magical. After the hour drive around, our site turned out to be a mound and exiting the trailer was a quick downhill run. Parking your truck is a puzzle, because your trailer takes up the entire space. If you don't like kids, this isn't the place for you, our daughter had a great time at the playground with dozens of playmates. Nice place once you finally get settled.
  • Very rude park rangers in the 90s five star park loved it camped all summer there.I've been back over the past three years and camped and each time said never again but 4th of July 2016 was it for me rude almost Rambo type park rangers slapping a glass off of the hood of a truck and busting and grabbing a friend of mine we have it on video no good taking it to the head of the park the don't care so the next step we are going to the who is over all Al state parks don't get me wrong it's an amazing park just really need to be ran different
