  • The zoo is a perfectly fine zoo. It is easy to get around, unlike a lot of zoos, and is not so large that you are exhausted trying to see everything. I would say, how can you lose? Especially with kid...  more »

  • I've been to a lot of zoos, and this is one of the best. Zoo is fairly large, but under a lot of construction to make improvements. Because of this, some exhibits were closed. My family and I rode the train over to the aquarium and botanical garden as well. Aquarium was small but nice. They are adding to it, as well. Garden was amazing. If you want to do everything without being rushed, get there as early as possible. We got there at 10:30 am and still didn't have enough time to spend in the garden.
  • The zoo here used to be well kept and really nice. After our visit yesterday it just seemed run down. A lot of the areas were closed with no signs of reopening. Overall, it just felt and looked "tired". It's really a shame because they could really turn it around in so many small, easy ways.
  • This is a great zoo. It is not the largest zoo but the habitats are beautiful and we'll kept. The animals all look healthy and happy. It's an easy walk and there is a large grassy area for picnics and kids to play. They also have educational shows for the kids.
  • I love our local zoo and it keeps getting better. This is a wonderful place to come if you are visiting Albuquerque as well. There are always new additions to the zoo family, great activities for kids, and endless fun that keeps you coming back.
  • Great experience for adults and kids alike! They are working on construction for little Asia and a playground that may take some time but, they are planning to add Penguins as new exhibit as soon as next year! The zoo offers a playground, gift shop, restaurants, and even a cute carousel šŸŽ !
