  • Paid $14 PER pers to get in. Turned out then that we had only paid for the Aquarium and the biological garden. If we would in the Zoo, we had to pay again in which case there. Fair enough Aquarium, but quite small, especially compared to the price.

  • Wonderful place to visit. There's plenty to see but bring plenty of water cause everything is well spread out.  more »
  • We go to the zoo several times a year but just went for our first evening concert. It was an enjoyable evening sitting in our chairs under the trees with our picnic.  more »

  • I've been to several zoos in my day and this isn't the best but it is pretty good. Lots of animals that are well cared for and very social considering the fact that it felt like it was 100 degrees. Tickets are 10 bucks for NM residents which isnt bad. My hubby and I went by ourselves and had a great time. You can also bring in your own food and drinks which can save you a ton. It was great. Oh and in the summer the have concerts on Thursdays and Friday. The pics are for 2017.
  • I've been to a lot of zoos, and this is one of the best. Zoo is fairly large, but under a lot of construction to make improvements. Because of this, some exhibits were closed. My family and I rode the train over to the aquarium and botanical garden as well. Aquarium was small but nice. They are adding to it, as well. Garden was amazing. If you want to do everything without being rushed, get there as early as possible. We got there at 10:30 am and still didn't have enough time to spend in the garden.
  • The enclosures are large and the animals seem to be genuinely happy here. Going in the morning or during scheduled feedings is best, the animals can be a little hard to find when napping. If they can just get some of those promised expansions finished it'll be perfect (*cough cough* Snow fox *cough cough*)
  • The zoo here used to be well kept and really nice. After our visit yesterday it just seemed run down. A lot of the areas were closed with no signs of reopening. Overall, it just felt and looked "tired". It's really a shame because they could really turn it around in so many small, easy ways.
  • This is a great zoo. It is not the largest zoo but the habitats are beautiful and we'll kept. The animals all look healthy and happy. It's an easy walk and there is a large grassy area for picnics and kids to play. They also have educational shows for the kids.
