  • This park is billed as a boater dream. This might be the case but when my wife and I wanted to have some fun hiking and it proved to be full of amazing trails. The path ways were well maintained and many gave you great views of those lakes.
  • They failed to tell us we couldn't drive to our campsite. Had to carry everything 1.5 miles. Get to our camp site area and nothing is marked to tell which camp site is which. 3 camp sites in a tiny little area. People next to us were loud and kept us up all night. Paid for two nights. Went home a day early. Not worth it.
  • Its awesome, has alot of trails ,friendly people running it ,if you have a problem DNR is right there to help, great fishing/boating areas .been going for 30 years great place.
  • We are camping here. It is soooo beautiful. We hiked one of the trails last night, by the old school house. It is nice, but rugged just as they described. Then today, we did another trail. We got some really great pictures and videos of the park and animals that can be seen on YouTube. #GodLovesSchlubs We are staying in one of the cabins. Sooo wonderful. We love it. There is no cell signal, but that is OK. I recommend bringing your own toliet paper, they do provide it, but I recommend bringing your own. We brought our own towels, recommend that, and linens, as was recommended by the park. They provided wood. They provide pillows, but we had brought our own. I would bring dish soap, they don't provide that. We brought our own drinks, but there is a soda machine by the nature center (check the general store too). But all in all, it is a wonderful place to stay in. We had never been here before. We love the snow too.
  • While I haven't been to this park since I was a kid, I do remember this park because of its nice campground and exciting playgrounds! There is lots of space for kids to explore and fun playgrounds!
