  • Great place to just wander. Great little lake, fountains, and wide open grassy spaces. Music in the pavillion  more »
  • On a warm and sunny day this park is a great place to find a spot, spread your blanket and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. Great for families and couples.  more »
  • April is the best time to visit this park to see the tulips. Albany does a fantastic job with the gardens. The Tulip Fes brings in lots of delicious, fattening food vendors! Enjoy.  more »

  • Its a nice place to go. I've had my share of odd run ins with guys looking for sexual stuff. I'm gay, so maybe that makes it somehow seem ok? I don't know, but that's pretty odd. The flowers are often very pretty, though not all the time. But for a nice big park, I think it serves its purpose pretty well. There are plays and concerts in the summer, festivals, and holiday lights in the winter. Though kind if overpriced and probably more for kids.
  • Very busy with some main road going through part of the park. Nice park with a tiny pond filled with benches to sit around or hang out and read a book. Nice spot to stop by the fountain, take in some pretty landscaping or going for a stroll around the pond. Dog friendly!
  • Don't go to this park alone even during the day.. People throw garbage everywhere even in the pond. Scarey people hang out here. There's bathrooms plays are nice. Christmas lights beautiful that the albany police department out on. Tulip festival nice just too crowded. Parking difficult. Next to impossible to find handicap parking.
  • This park usually appears very well kept and it's rather scenic, large and a nice place to stroll. They even sometimes have little live theatre performance events on stage if you're into that.
  • This is such a nice place. I would walk here in the mornings. It has a nice pond in the middle with a bridge over it such makes it kook like a place from fairy tales. The theater house and the fountains make it look welcoming. In summer children perform in the open air theater. In spring time, the park hosts tulip fest which is worth going to if you love flowers or even colors. Besides, go for some local shopping too. I got great handmade soap and jewelry. Do have that fresh lemonade to welcome the spring :-)
