  • I really like this zoo. Sometimes, it's hard to find inexpensive things to do when traveling, but this is right up my alley because it cost $2.50 a person. They have interesting animals that look well...  more »

  • I was pleasantly surprised when we first moved here. The zoo is very well kept, the animals well cared for and with the new monkey exhibit, it's a perfect little zoo. We love coming here in the summer...  more »

  • I love how they work very hard to make sure the animals have the best life in captivity as possible. This zoo has been working over the last 20 years to modernize and upgrade their facilities. I think many of the animals there are happier with their new homes. I just wish the train whistle didn't have to blow right behind the zoo. I'm sure it bothers the animals.
  • Fun little zoo that acts a lot like a park. When you go in the morning the animals are more active. We've had bears, cougars, emus, monkeys, and alligators come right up to the fence and even follow us. So fun! And with many visits.
  • Small, but very enjoyable!! Great park also with swings and slides. Lots of tables for pic nice.. had a great time!
  • This zoo is a really fun place to visit for only a few bucks. Although under reconstruction and renovation right now, its still got a lot to offer. Better still, it offers a lot of trees, greenery, and shade - an oasis in the desert!
  • The animals where all sleeping and I went at 1pm. The cages were very small most animals where alone and very depressed. The 2 bears they had were walking in circles. A train is located behind the zoo and went it passed by and honked the horn and all the monkeys went running scared. The monkeys were suppose to in a hot and humid environment and it was 53 degrees outside, can’t imagine what it is like at night. I regret spending my money there the 4.4 star review tricked me, but I’m also happy because I pray it goes towards feeding the animals and bettering the environment for them.
