  • I've been to Isla Guadalupe with Great White Adventures twice in two years. Both trips were fantastic - a life-long dream come true!
  • One of the top things on my bucket list was to dive with great white sharks. I always thought it was just a dream, and that it would never become a reality for me. Well, I learned about Great White Adventures through someone who had previously gone with them to Guadalupe Island, and reached out to them (via facebook messenger) regarding their trips. I was promptly greeted by one of their employees named Nikki, who was the kindest, most prompt person I could have ever been connected with! For an entire weekend, she answered every single question I had, no matter how ridiculous they were. We must have sent messages for 3 full days, and she was replying to every message within an hour. It was amazing to be connected with her, as she has been diving with great white sharks for years, and has been on countless trips with GWA. I was in luck, and ended up on one of the trips that she was going on in October 2017. Upon meeting her at the hotel, she was as kind and friendly as she had been over all our months of conversations. The trip itself was phenomenal. I was worried about driving through Mexico, however, the charter bus we were on was in great condition, and the men operating the vehicle were great. They provided beverages, pointed out landmarks along the way to Ensenada, and walked us through the process of crossing the border. Upon getting to Ensenada, we boarded the Solmar V, and met the crew that would be our hosts for the next 5 days. In the cabin, we were escorted to our room, and then chowed down on the delicious appetizers they had waiting for us. Once we made it out to the island, we went over a safety briefing to ensure that it was a safe trip for both us, and the sharks. The "wranglers" who brought the sharks in close to the cages were great. They ensured we remained safe, and that the sharks remained safe. In addition to the diving, we took the dinghy closer to the island, so that we could view the seal colonies that call Guadalupe Island home. The crew made sure that you never became hungry or thirsty. Chef Tony made all our meals, and they were some of the best meals I have ever had. I will dream about the soup that is served at lunch for the rest of my life. Coming out of the crisp, cold water and getting a hot bowl of poblano soup is one of the greatest feelings ever. I will forever be grateful for the wonderful, fantastic, adventurous trip that Great White Adventures does, and for their exceptional professionalism. The crew was amazing, the sharks were beautiful, the food was delicious, and the memories will last a lifetime. The photos attached were taken by me, from my trip in October. I recommend Great White Adventures to everyone who is looking to see these beautiful creatures face to face, and I look forward to doing many more trips with GWA in the future! They have secured a life long customer in me!
  • Don't bother with this company. Avoid at all costs. Like many others I got the night before dive cancellation and I had no chance to reschedule. Also they don't offer a refund like any reputable company would when they are unable to perform a service so now I get to jump through insurance hoops to attempt to get my money back. Thanks for nothing GWSA.
  • Horrible company, horrible service, they called and left a message the day before we were to go out, after we had booked two months in advance and bought all our gear to say they had engine failure and could not provide us the service we paid for up front. understandable that mechanical issues can occur, but after calling back and leaving 5 messages over the course of two weeks to either reschedule or have them refund our money, they finally answered (ever did call back) to say they would not refund us our $800 and that this is why we got insurance. they claim that the fact they do not maintain their equipment that this was not in their control and was an act of god! Defiantly do not recommend.
  • Want to go out again soon! Incredible!
