  • Sipsey Wilderness is located within the William B. Bankhead National Forest that is managed by US Forest Service. This 25,986 acre recreational area has trails, picnicking, RV camping and boating.
  • It is absolutely breathtaking. From the turquoise river to the tall cedars. Total eye candy everywhere you look. Nice to be out looking beyond a computer screen or cell phone.
  • This place is beautiful. BUT, you better get a local map if you are not familiar because you will have no cell phone service and the roads and some trails are unmarked.
  • Sipsey Wilderness, is where you see some of God's wonderful creative work!
