  • This mall is kept up nicely. Very clean and a beautiful carousel. That is where the good things end. It is near the "other side of the tracks". This makes shopping at this mall a bit perilous. Teens a...  read more »

  • Chapel hill was a nice mall 20 years ago, they had great shopping. Now many national chains have left the mall. Last time I was in there I counted more than 15 empty stores. There's also many strange ...  read more »
  • As of 7/31/2016 half the businesses seem to have moved out being replaced by smaller locally owned type shops. Food court took a hit with businesses leaving too. Recently the mall was purchased by a company who appears to be interested in developing the property and area, so fingers crossed. Two places of interest: one shop rents out motorized animal shaped scooters that you can ride around the mall and another shop is a relaxation spot where you can get massages and the like.
  • This mall is like the last scene of Old Yeller before they shoot Old Yeller because he has rabbies except there is a glitch in the DVD player where it plays the minute before pulling the trigger on a perpetual loop. Sorry I didn't provide a spoiler warning for those of you that haven't seen the movie but it is 59 years old by now. Also, I take back that I said sorry, it is a classic. If you were raised right you would have watched it by now; if you are mad about finding out that the dog dies then be mad at your at your parents for not raising you right. Also, I hate to rub salt on a fresh wound, but the movie is 59 years old so the dog that played Old Yeller is also dead. Gosh, this review keeps getting more depressing every moment, just like Chapel Hill Mall does.
  • Oh boy this place has gone down hill fast! Macys left and so did most everything else go with it. There is nothing here worth coming back again. Cell phone stores and kiosks, jewelry stores, and a few ma and pa places you never heard of before, and sorta wished you didnt. So sad.
  • It's an ok place. This mall, from the looks of it, is turning into a second rolling acres. The area has high crime rates like rolling acres and a lot of stores are moving out; lots of vacant spots throughout the mall. All these factors caused Rolling Acres to collapse (literally) and unfortunately the same is happening to this mall. The mall is starting to show noticeable signs of wear and needs a renovation (tiles falling out of ceiling, leaky roof, chipping paint, etc.) if it wants to stay in business. The food court is amazing, however, there is not a good selection of stores in the mall anymore like there was a year ago. Not sure I would come here again. Sad it's becoming like this and will most likely not be around in the next few years. :(
  • This place is kind of low on good stores. The ones that they do have though, have really nice and attentive employees. There are some odd people that hang around this mall but if you ignore that, it has a semi decent amount of stores.
