  • This place is steeped in history. Wonderful , educational, resources throughout the park. The land is mature, large trees, plenty of shade to relax in whole the kids swim. Swimming pond is clean and sandy on the bottom. Fishing lake is beautiful and fully stocked. Well Springs is refreshing. Bathrooms are clean. Lots of geocaches in this park. Lots to love at Aiken State Park.
  • Quiet natural beauty, clean and well kept, swimming, fishing, kayaking and a great place to have a family picnic.
  • It is great cuz it has swimming ,camping and sometimes they Park movies put movies there for people to watch at night I enjoy the monkey bars
  • park ranger was one of the nicest Rangers, bathrooms are very clean, beautiful park with lots to do, very very very quite at night, we traveled from central Florida and we didn't want to leave so we stayed one extra night, book a canoe trip well worth it, as a family of 3 we can't wait to visit again and again, I highly recommend for beginning campers or for those who want some R&R. Thanks for the great long weekend and we shall see you soon!
  • I would give it a one star but I did enjoy the the fact that it was very quite because no one was there! I have stayed in a good many parks camping. The ranger wasn't helpful when our camper broke down in the middle of his road. He just said he'd come back later....really? I understand he isn't a mechanic but maybe help us push it out the road please! The park needs money put into it! The trails were barely trails every thing was so grown up! We couldn't fish, couldn't use the canoes. So was a nice quite area...that's about all I can say good about it...
