  • Our family's favorite spot to take friends kayaking. It's a great clean camp ground with a nice park and swimming area. The kayaking route is perfect for a leisurely ride down the river and great for beginners.
  • Very interesting place. It has a little bit for everyone. Camping, fishing, swimming, canoeing, hiking, beautiful little parks to sit and enjoy nature. I will go again.
  • The roads around the park are full of potholes and a lot of low hanging limbs. The Campground road is dirt and is full of deep ruts and holes. They are low hanging tree limbs everywhere. The shower houses are very old and in disrepair. Nothing to do here. Would never visit or camp here again!!
  • Great place to.take family . They have picnic tables and trash cans. There is a spot where ducks play and you can fish ,sunbath , a covered picnic spot and restrooms. Aiken State Park is where folks have family reunions. I know they used to give guides hikes thru the park and cable rides. I think they open around 9am and close just before dark. A nice spot to ride bikes, picnic and enjoy time with your children.
  • Great trails and canoeing float. Fun spot to swim and spend the day
