Six Flags New England, Agawam

3.1
#1 of 12 in Theme Parks in Massachusetts
The oldest of the Six Flags properties, Six Flags New England combines a theme park and water park. This spot got its start as a park in the 19th century and began introducing amusements in the early 20th century. However, its modern reputation is for its thrilling roller coasters, many of which are named after popular characters or films, such as Batman: The Ride. Costumed characters roam the avenues between the rides. Arrange to visit Six Flags New England and other attractions in Agawam using our Agawam road trip site .

  • I'm a lover of roller coasters. If you're like me you'll have a blast here as there are more big coasters than you can shake a stick at. If you're not so much of a thrill-ride person there's the water park too but of course that' a bit dependent on the weather. There are lots of places to eat and decent food for theme-park fare (remember that the prices are up there). Maybe a little light on shows (music and things like that) but they do have some fun ones. Overall a great park that we really enjoy going to.
  • Well, it's been around a long time, before it was Six Flags it was Riverside. Honestly, I liked it better before it became Six Flags. Still, the rides are pretty good, the best one, in my opinion, is The Batman. They updated one of the original wooden coasters, The Cyclone, with steel reinforcements and a completely new track. It's called The Wicked Cyclone now. They have a bunch of season pass deals and memberships that are well worth it if you plan on going a lot. The prices on concessions, of course, are pretty ridiculous so consider that when budgeting. Overall, a fun amusement park and a good time.
  • Nice variety of rides for younger ages. But 30 for parking, and 5 for a water, on top of admission is just not a good value. Went on a slow day and the more popular teen rides had wait times over 2hrs, but for an additional fee, you can cut the line. Buy on-line for some savings, and parking off-site which is actually closer to the park and much less expensive. Lots of better options, like going to a national park hiking, rock climbing, archery, going on a whale watch, renting some kayaks, or going to the beach.
  • Disgusting, everything is filthy, the staff is rude with few exceptions, and the bees. Oh my good god the bees were everywhere. There is a serious bee problem here and it kind of ruins your whole day when you get stung 3 times. They really need to fix the bee issue. Seriously i could not spend more than ten minutes at the water park because of how bad the bees got. I may seem to be overreacting but seriously itโ€™s awful. I do not recommend you spend money here. I have nothing positive to say about this park.
  • I m loving this place. I have been there for about 5 times in this season yet. And water park is where I want to spend more amount of time. Though water rides are not so thrilling but it is great to be there. And amusement park has real good rides. Go as many times as possible to explore all as it is hard to explore in 1 or 2 visits. Also with seasonal passes for drinks, dining, parking it's like visit twice every month.. ๐Ÿ˜œ
