  • This was a beautiful place to visit, and a relatively easy hike. It is very family friendly here, with lots of short trails available, or you can continue walking and let the distance add up. There is also a lake with a swimming area, although we did not swim during our visit. We did have a wonderful picnic at one of the many picnic tables available for use. If you're having a large gathering, there are pavilions available. I will definitely visit this park again in the future!
  • Great place for families. If you are looking for a peaceful place to just get away for the day, or a few nights in the camp grounds, it's a good place to check out. They have mini golf, fishing, nature trails, a playground and more. Events are hosted year round for activities of all ages. You should check it out if you haven't already.
  • Our camping club held 2 rallys here and the staff made us feel welcome. We love kayaking in the river and lake. There is a seafood restaurant just outside the gates to the park and they have some pretty good food.
  • Very well kept. A gem of the South. Fishing, boating, camping, hiking, biking, just get out doors!!!
  • Fishing camping picnic. Showers are a little scary (bugs) only 2. one inside handicap toilet. Nice little store. Staff very nice.
