  • Been here a few times. The service and conversation is always great and the cheeses are a cut above. It's no "accident" that they are one of my must stops when we venture out to Western Maryland.  more »

  • I did a wine and cheese pairing tasting with a friend and it was delicious. In fact, their cheeses were very similar to what I have had in France. The staff was available to answer questions and just chat. I read a review that said what they serve is enough for a meal and it definitely was. We left with about half of what they served us. It's a little pricey but a nice experience. We went in the off season so their shop was quiet and we had no problem reserving the tasting. But in the middle of summer, I'm sure it is much busier.
  • The CHEESE! We love goats anyway but what Firefly farms has achieved with their milk is just marvelous to eat! We would probably buy this stuff from ogres if we had to, but the owners have staffed the place with knowledgeable, friendly and smiling people who were a pleasure on our two recent visits! Thr store is stocked with many other worthwhile delicacies as well if you are staying for the week! Enjoy!
  • My wife and I attended a Wine and Cheese tasting here while were staying at a bed and breakfast in deep creek. It was fantastic. Not only did we learn a lot about the wines and cheeses but were able to immediately go buy what we tried to take home with us. Their cheeses are so good. They really do a nice job here. The owners were incredibly inviting and friendly. This is a must stop destination if you are near deep creek. Not a very large place, and you need to book ahead for the wine tastings, but the shop has everything you need to do your own tasting if you can't get a seat at the table. Just talk to the staff, they will steer you in the right direction.
  • Friendly staff allowed us to taste any cheese we wanted. They obviously took pride in their work and knowledgeable about cheese. Next time we'll do the tasting package.
  • Wow. What a wonderful addition to our trip. The owners were so inviting and inspiring and the cheese... best I have ever had.
