Drive the scenic route on Park Loop Road to explore Acadia National Park. Beginning at Hulls Cove visitor center, you can cruise this 43 km (27 mi) stretch for views of the park's lakes, mountains, forests, and coast. Drive carefully, as wildlife can often be spotted crossing the road. Pullover points are dotted along the road to provide safe places for you to stop and take pictures or stretch your legs. The loop continues another 5.6 km (3.5 mi) to the summit of Mount Cadillac, at 466 m (1,530 ft) high, for fantastic panoramas of the Acadian skyline.   • The road begins as you climb out of Bar Harbour to Cadillac Mountain. The colors were perfect and man trees were a brilliant red. Leaving the mountain you can continue on the loop road to see and expe...  more »
  • If you enter the park visitors center then drive the automatically the course. The largest portion is one way. Fortunately, because when we were there (29 september) was the huge pressure. File drive and crowded parking lots. Don't really like it. But anyway, most of them parked on the road what gave new congestion and also on the view of places was the push for a place.

  • The Park Loop Road is a road passing through which you can see all the main sights of Acadia Park. On entry it one-sided, so close to her in the Park, get ready for a few long-term independent tours. Go for it-and don't miss anything
