  • Terry and Michael were great hosts making you feel like a guest and not visitor. Want to play on a 100+ year old Steinway & Sons piano, listen to an Edison cylinder phonograph and Victrola, bowl on.....  more »

  • Such a cool experience! Every other historical home has things roped off and does not allow you to touch, but at the Seelye mansion nothing is off limits. Terry and his assistants are very knowledgeable and kind, offering fun facts about the history of the home and its previous inhabitants. An overall amazing experience, I'm so glad to have dropped by.
  • Absolutely wonderful experience. My husband and I travel and visit lots of mansions and museums. This was the best one ever . Terry and his (family) are wonderful!!! This is truly a great experience and a must see . Thank you Terry !!!
  • Neither words, nor pictures can do this place a shred of justice! First of all, the physical property and belongings are spectacularly preserved, and absolutely amazing examples of early 1900s American craftsmanship/antiques. Second, the fact that NO PART OF THIS HOME IS ROPED OFF and you are allowed to touch, hear, and play with these pristine antiques is truly unique. Finally, the tour guide, Terry. He is a decorated, local treasure, a gifted storyteller, and an integral part of the top-notch experience. Anyone interested in American history, architecture, or American craftsmanship would greatly appreciate this tour. Not to mention the incredibly moderate cost of the tour, they could easily command triple the admission fee. It is true that the 2(+)‐hour tour may be long for some, stairs may be challenging for some, and the 1905 house lacks ventilation at times, but I have never enjoyed a tour as much IN SPITE of these limitations! A MUST-SEE!
  • Wonderful experience. The tour was so informative. We even got to bowl in the antique bowling alley. Last one of it's kind still in use.
  • Beautiful house. We really liked the tour by the owner. We highly recommend going.
