Leidos Field at Ripken Stadium is the home of the Aberdeen IronBirds, Class A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles in the New York-Penn League. The stadium is located in Aberdeen, Maryland. The 6,300-seat Ripken Stadium held its first game on June 18, 2002. The team has sold out every home game at Ripken Stadium since it began playing there in 2002.The stadium is part of Cal Ripken, Jr.'s Aberdeen Complex in his hometown of Aberdeen, Maryland, located just off Interstate 95 at Maryland Route 22. The complex also includes several smaller fields for local youth sports leagues, as well as an adjacent Marriott hotel. The stadium is the closest structure of the complex to the highway, with the right field fence and scoreboard visible from it. The stadium also hosts soccer matches as well. Stevenson University's baseball team also uses Ripken Stadium as its home field as well as the Yankee Stadium Field that is within walking distance. The expansive parking lot of Ripken Stadium is frequently used as a venue for SCCA autocross racing for many racers on the east coast.FeaturesThe stadium features a three-tiered cafe behind home plate, available for patrons who want to have dinner and drinks during a game. The upper level has a press box behind home plate, 256 club seats and six skyboxes. Ripken Stadium was one of the first short-season Single-A ballparks to have a fully enclosed club level and skyboxes.

  • The ball park was lovely and the team was fun to watch. We had a rain delay but the rain themed music was inspired and entertaining. The biggest downside was the food! My burger was charred to a crisp and the hot pretzel tasted months old.
  • Line at the box office was a little long, but it was opening day. Very nice seats to see the game. Nice food and beer options inside the park as well as a Rita's. I would suggest the Grilled cheese from the panini stand with crab meat. Very impressive stadium and between inning entertainment for a minor league park.
  • Beautiful little mini Camden yards! The Oriole's have this great consistent look in their facilities for all their ball teams....the stadiums that the small teams play are like replicas of the big field in Baltimore. spring training facility, and minor league stadiums too! Leidos field is really nice, and a great place to watch a game, go check out the Ironbirds!
  • Good game for a change. Food not so much. I don't like that they let VIPs (who ever they are) out first from parking and make us wait 25+ minutes to get out of the parking lot. First year doing this and maybe our last year for season tickets, after 16 years!
  • Very clean, good atmosphere. Every seat is a good seat here. Decent food and beverage options. Not as ridiculously over priced as a major league stadium.
