  • On a Thursday afternoon before high season, we were lucky to book 1 night in any cabin, we chose # 5 for its proximity to lake. While checking it out, we were greeted by a young female raccoon. I know...  more »

  • Great State Park, nice trails and water ways to fish. Splash pad for kids, nature center with knowledgeable people about the area and great events involving cooking groups with some amazing food and music many times a year. Look at their event calendar and enjoy a great time out there whether you are tent camping, have a camper, or rent a cabin.
  • We LOVE going to the splash here!! It's at least a 45min drive from our place over by Costco, but we pack a lot of food, some chairs, towels and sunscreen and make a day out of it. Can't wait to go back and explore the whole park.
  • 5 star rv park, great free wifi. Free laundry. Reasonable rates. We rode our bikes for miles.
  • I loved it! Nature trails, the outdoor classroom! Lots of wildlife to photograph! Ready to go back!
  • I love being connected with nature, a great place for inspiration or motivation if you're a writer. Camping is fun and I love spending a few nights here but it's a hassle to call and set a spot. Sometimes there are no spots when we show up, and I understand that it's a popular place, but when we call beforehand no one ever picks up the phone so we have to take a trip to get turned away. Wi-Fi is awful, but I don't use it much until I go to bed so it's not a bother really. The splash pad is a great place to cool down in the summer, very great for kids and adults to have fun or cool down. 👍 Love it here.
