  • Great museum with a modern, fresh and airy feel. Lots of great educational visuals for kids to learn about various aspects in history. There was a theme around sea animals, dinosaurs and Romans that the kids could explore. They even got the chance to dress up as Romans and an art activity in making stained glass windows! Highly recommended. The pictures are within the art gallery which is worth a visit too.
  • Very interesting and impressive exhibits and there's an awesome virtual reality headset experience too, things to keep kids involved and easy access with lift and ramps for buggy
  • The Viking part was great. The rest not so much. The museum is quite small !
  • Very beautiful place. This is an incredible museum, the entry fee is reasonable, especially considering how extensive and interesting this place is. You must visit here if you come to York.
  • One love place to visit especially if you're a tourist. Very beautiful items on display. :)
