  • Recently visited. Chilled afternoon, and although it wasn't a sunny day it was just as pleasant. My teen came with us and did also enjoy the walk round the mazes. Will visit again.  more »
  • Been here many times and always have enjoyed the gardens, tearoom and shop. Today I unfortunately let my blood sugars get too low (I'm diabetic) and as I got to the tearoom I was quickly looked after ...  more »

  • Free entry and good views of the surrounding landscape. The shop sells a wide variety of lavender plants as well as lavender honey. *** EDIT July 2017: I just tried to visit again today and found admission now costs £3 each to get in plus prices in the shop have increased significantly since last year. So I left immediately. 2 stars taken off review. ***
  • Lovely day out with plenty to walk around and see especially on a sunny day! Cafe has a lovely atmosphere too although prices are a bit high. Food is nice albeit a bit strange when it included lavender which I've never had in a meal or drink before!
  • This place is great. Great views, decent food and lots of plants I come here quite often with my mum and we usually have a good time. The cafe is good but fairly expensive, there's a large variety of plants which can be abit expensive and the place looks very nice. Be warned though in summer they do charge to get in but apart from that it's free.
  • This is a charming small garden with imaginative displays of lavender in beautiful Yorkshire countryside. We have visited twice at different times of the year and the place has expanded over that time, but still retains a charm and a sense that the owners care. The food in the tearooms is also excellent.
  • Great place, lovely gardens, plenty of benches on which to sit and admire the views. Wonderful plants on sale. Lavender maze, grass pond and sculptures to wander thorough. The deer looked a little fed up. Well worth the visit.
