  • Loved this place! Seemed a bit expensive until we got inside, was great fun. Trying loads of chocolate and getting to make your own. Took partner and 2 year old daughter. She got a little bit grumpy during the talks when she finished the chocolate she was given, but just about managed to keep her entertained with my phone :) Would recommend !
  • Great chocolate experience. The tour guide we had was passionate and knowledgeable. The last bit was for the kids really. Could have been a few more freebies really.
  • Had a really good time here. Went with the girlfriend for the tour, got a guy called Ben who was leading the tour. The tour was fun, informative enough without being boring, you get to taste the first type of solid chocolate which is fun. The chocolate making demonstration is pretty cool too. The best bit is the chocolates they sell in the store, so much better than shop bought stuff!
  • As one who is partial to a bar or two, its always good to see how chocolate production developed! York has quite the history in it and the story highlights just how prominent it has been. A terrys chocolate apple went on sale before the chocolate orange...I can guess why that went out of production! Blurgh.
  • The shop itself is nothing spectacular, average. What is cool tho is the chocolate story tour. Is very well done and you can know a lot more about the history of chocolate in York and even make your own chocolate lollipop. The price for us was 5 pounds each because of the anniversary of the shop, otherwise it would be double I think, which is a arguable expensive.
