York Maze, York
Categories: Theme Parks, Water & Amusement Parks
Navigate a giant corn labyrinth and play other farmland games at York Maze. The venue plants over one million corn stalks each year over an area spanning more than ten soccer fields, leaving paths that form a maze as the corn grows. As you navigate the labyrinth, try to solve Kernel Kernel's challenges to win prizes. When you're finished, hop aboard a tractor-driven trailer to help keep "crows" at bay. You'll get wet on this ride, so wear appropriate clothing. The site also offers a "cobstacle" course to negotiate, hay-bale pyramids to climb, a maze of illusions to witness, and many other attractions. The Yorkshire Dragon BBQ serves locally sourced, grilled food. Remember to wear suitable footwear around the site because you'll be walking around a field. The maze is a seasonal attraction open in July and August; check for exact dates in advance. Plan to visit York Maze during your York vacation using our convenient York vacation trip planner.

Nice place for a wedding - great barn for the ceremony and decent sized reception area with bar. Good gardens to walk off the food and beer!
i came here and i got lost her and all i had to keep me going was some salt and vinegar rice cakes. Then i met this guy called David (pronounced Daveeeeeeed, lean on the eee) and i offred him a rice cake but my english is not very good because i just moved her from africa i imigrated, and he just puked in my lap again (See my review from the corn maze in Calgary) so then i had no rice cakes left and another stain on my paints. I hate stains did i mention? It was alright for a maize maze.
Absolutely fantastic day out. Highly recommended. The entertainers were great. The staff were helpful and kind. Facilities excellent and clean. Lovely picnic spot but food looked reasonably priced anyway. Loved the maze. Loads of other things to do and not much to pay, other than the admission (electric quads were only £1 and you can ride with your small child) . Free crazy golf? Go on then! Tractor ride and show were fun. Loads of things we never did because we were worn out! Will deffo be back! Ten stars, from us!
Great family day out our 3 and 6 year olds loved it
Great day out but overpriced entry fee and on sight food and drink, picnic highly recommended!
