  • One of my favourite museums outside London. Very accessible in terms of exhibits and features. Mainly aimed at the modern history crowd and families it comes with a massive thumbs up from me.
  • Very fun museum. A bit light on historical artifacts, but tells some interesting stories, excellent atmospheric mocked up town. Really enjoyed it.
  • Nicely done but not a must see. Surprised no castle there just museum and tower.
  • There were some interesting exhibits here! The exhibit on WWII was fantastic. It can take quite a bit of time too. FYI, this has nothing to do with Cliffords Tower right across the way.
  • A very interesting museum. Although I am not that bothered about museums, I found this one to be very good. There is lots of different sections, making it interesting for all ages. Will visit again when I am in York again.
