The castle museum is a brilliant place for children and adults, it is mostly indoors and allows you to go in reconstructed buildings and get a real feel of the period. The museum progresses throughout time providing much more to look at!
Victorian street and WW1 are excellent. Parking can be a little expensive in the castlegate car park. It also can fill up real quick. This should not dissuade you tho, from visiting this excellent museum
