  • Mad Alice gives an exceptional insight into the events that have made York what it is. Great tour and for me, this would be on top of a list of things to do in York.  more »

  • Mad Alice was brilliant! Not just a tour of ghosts stories, Mad Alice was full of historical facts about York. We had a great group of only seven or so so it felt very intimate and we could easily get into the small streets without a fuss. Would highly recommend. Look out for the small placard in front of the college for the tour start location. The other ghost tours we passed had such large numbers I’m surprised they could hear the host and possibly struggled trying to fit everybody down the small gates.
