  • Abbey had fun in the park, even with bad weather, plenty of space and things to play with. You could spend hours here on a hot day  more »
  • Peaceful and pretty park near the river and a short walk from the city centre. They have done a good job reducing the number of intrusive geese - and their droppings!! - so it is now safe to walk arou...  more »
  • Plan on making it a long visit. The longer you stay, the more relaxed you will be. Fresh air and bright sunshine make it a very pleasant way to wile away a few hours. There are a few others around Yor...  more »

  • Large park with nice play area for children of varying ages. Pond to walk around and nice bit of woodland
  • The play area is fantastic for kids, but the park in general is a bit overrated. Lots of open space, but ruined slightly by all the goose poo (not the fault of the geese, obviously, but a problem nevertheless). The reading cafe is lovely, and it's generally a perfectly nice Park... It could just do with some better maintenance.
  • Acres of open space to relax and enjoy, great with or without children. Nice cafe in the centre of the Park.
  • A lovely park with a great play area for kids + skate park. The cafe serves lovely cakes :)
  • The park has many facilities and is very nice but needs more care from people
