  • Just around the corner from York Brewery and also included on our York Pass for free entry. This was actually quite interesting. On 3 floors but only one room per floor. Lots of information to read. S...  more »

  • The two gentlemen in the information centre are a delight. Such a good laugh
  • Fun little museum, however, this was much more geared towards kids. Maybe a reflection of York as a whole, but the Richard III experience was better 😜
  • Apparently the most important gate into York. Small museum in gate house. Better value if paired with Richard III Experience. Walk along walls is worthwhile.
  • Much less exhibits / information available compared with Richard III experience and other museums such as Jorvik. The location however is fabulous, as so much history is routed there.
