  • 1/19/2017 came to York from King's cross station. First, we went to the tourist information centre. After that, enjoy the city, walking around the shambles Street. At the time, stopped by this store. This shop that looked at trip Advisor ago, wanted to know. So tea would blend. Girls than black tea was working here is very unique and impression. Talk is like a punk rocker girl, looks scary and very nice she was. Asked and took the picture is good or not, and please ", so I took this picture. 100 g tea Pack are sold to Japan, was about 800 yen. I think it's very nice souvenir. I felt truly United Kingdom's wish.

  • Very small shop, but that's somewhat part of the charm of the shop. I love that they have heated tea outside their window all day so you can try various flavours and temp yourself into buying another bag. Hebden does loose, flowering and nest tea (the ONLY shop I have found in yorkshire that actually does flowering tea) - none of which I have seen to be branded. They procure it and package it all themselves. The environment in the shop is great, and you feel you can really relax and look around the enormous, and I mean enormous, amount of tea to select from. If you ever need help, the staff are attentive and know their stuff stupidly well, and they can almost always point you to a select thing or explain something. Amongst this wonderful staff is possibly the best tea expert I've even known, the owner. If you have any questions, he's possibly the best and most detailed person you could ask, and I've never been left with questions when I ask things. The shop has a brilliant stock, as well. My brother cannot handle caffeine very well, making his choice in tea limited. Not here - he came out with at least 6 bags and a very happy face. Alongside it's tea, it sells tea strainers and lovely teapots and tea sets, with tea-warmers. The glass teapot and some blooming jasmine tea really impresses guests. Including this, they have green tea paste, a tea whisk and the bowls to prepare it, which is really, really neat. Possibly the best tea place I have been or ever will go to - move out the way Betty's.
  • I bought two packets of cinnamon tea recently. One for my daughter and one for myself. It is heavenly. A truly wonderful drink that wraps it's aroma around you like a comfort blanket. Can't wait to buy the mango infused teas. So lovely.
  • Incredible variety of teas.
  • not great would not recommend
  • I was drawn in by the two teapots sat on the windowsill providing samples to passers by. Wonderful little shop with hundreds of different teas.
