  • We had a great hour at Dig. Our children aged 9 and 7 loved it. It was lead by knowledgeable staff who talked around the subject. Following an introductory talk there are four areas to 'dig'; Victoria...  more »
  • This attraction is probably for the younger children. My boys 8 and 11 were a little bored. Any younger and I would recommend this. The school trip upstairs looked perfectly pitched.  more »
  • Read about this on York pass site and thought it sounded good. It was brilliant. My 4 year old wants to do it again. My 13 year old loved it and the 4adults really enjoyed it as well. Go and see it!!  more »

  • Great guide. Very interesting tour. Staff very good with kids. Recommend for a family activity.
  • Not bad, but a little basic and not much to do so short lived. Still worth a visit to see some archaeological findings.
  • Mostly aimed at children but still very informative.
  • What a fantastic experience, perfect for all the family, young and old!! We spent over a hour here, exploring the recreated dig sites, looking at artefacts and reading all the interesting facts around the museum. The experience starts with a tour, from a member of staff, our tour guide was a lovely young lady, who was great with the children, very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, we truly loved it and cannot wait to go back!!!
  • Not for us I'm afraid seems to be entirely aimed at children. If you have kids give it a go the place was packed with kids looking like they were having great fun.
