You can choose from privately owned townhouses, low-cost hotels, luxurious international chains, and quiet B&Bs and guesthouses. For that ultimate urban experience, consider staying in the historical city center. This part of town is packed with options for every taste and budget, all close to York’s main attractions, as well as its main transportation systems. • We wondered in, read a sign with information about dick, but didn't go any further due to a lass laid over the grave with her booze in hand, it was 10:30 am Not very inviting and her loose dog was fine, probably safer to look at it on the Internet
  • Was buried here after execution but now may not be!
  • Dick Turpin's grave is quite well presented and there is an information board about him. The grave sits in the far corner near the hedge. There are other graves but these are too old to read. Well worth a visit if your'e interested in history or local legends. Just watch out for the dog waste as the churchyard is full of it and needs to ban dogs from the site.
  • Interesting read , could do with tarting up
  • Interesting place to visit.
