  • An interesting visit. Felt a little weird taking pictures of a dead guys grave but after reading that he paid for mourners at his hanging I think he'd love the attention.

  • Dick Turpin's grave is quite well presented and there is an information board about him. The grave sits in the far corner near the hedge. There are other graves but these are too old to read. Well worth a visit if your'e interested in history or local legends. Just watch out for the dog waste as the churchyard is full of it and needs to ban dogs from the site.
  • Historical place to visit whilst in York , there is a board with a bit of info on his life that you can read. The grave had empty beer cans all around it. I would avoid when it's dark as it may be a local drinking spot.
  • Historically interesting figure. Grave is in an open graveyard over the road from the church. Full of dog pooh & evidence of drug use. Shame it's not better looked after.
  • A little bit of history, in this quite little cemetery.
