  • I have visited this place 5 times in the last 3 weeks. Their classic and current movie selections are great! The have a great selection of drinks, candy and popcorn. The view is wonderful (so come a little early to enjoy a drink before the movie)!
  • It's in a general a nice place to spend some time with a friend or maybe have a cup of coffee or a drink since the service is good and the ambient has a good vibe. The cinema however is highly overrated (especially if you have been to other movie theatres) and overly priced. The screens are comparatively smaller than usual, and the surround system is almost like a stereo. Students get just a £1 discount on tickets.
  • Comfy seats & a good variety of screenings. We have a couples membership which gives us (and guests) a good discount every time we visit - including the delicious food & drinks served in bar too! Also a 25% discount at Gourmet burger which is a minutes walk away & serves great burgers.
  • Excellent local cinema. Great bar and cafe - day or night. Foods very good, perhaps a bit pricy. Good selection of local regional ales. Comfy seats and the sound and picture quality are top rate.
  • My friends and I went to city screen to watch the new Spider-Man (12A). The tickets were a reasonable price. So we went ahead and bought tickets. It was a very miserable day as it had rained. We had arrived 5 minutes early to go to the toilets and get settled. As we were about to enter the person who examines are tickets pulled us up and asked If we had any ID. This confused us as our other friends had already gone in. We were 13 and were unfortunately not carry ID with us. We think they stopped just us going in was because of our height as we were the smallest of the group. In order to prove we were allowed to go to watch the film I offered them to ring my parents and even see our private social medias. They still didn't accept this. So we were forced a refund. I can agree that they would be concerned that we didn't have ID but they could have told us straight away rather than us going through the whole experience.
