  • This medieval home has a lot of period history packed within, and is quite a bit bigger than it looks from the outside. The continuous video loop needs updating, but gives a nice synopsis of the effor...  more »
  • Well maintained house of the lord mayor of York in the time of Henry VIII. Worth a quick visit but you wion't need more than an hour.

  • Very interesting place, lots of history, kids enjoyed their visit, plenty on display with costumes and a little stage to act out your own play, well worth a visit and I would definitely go back.

  • Great fun in here. I've only really had a brief walk around on my own, but I love the building and the exhibitions. I imagine children would really enjoy it, and I expect to bring nieces and nephew here soon, as well!
