You could easily miss this castle hidden away down an alley near the harbour. Good views out to sea and interesting to see how the castle was used as defences. more »
The castle really gives a taste of Tudor life ,and the view across to the mainland is breathtaking. Great for kids more »
Very small and expensive for what it is. Best to be an English Heritage member, then you get for free. The terrace offers nice views.
Small but perfectly formed castle/fort right beside the ferry slip.
