This was a special event day where you can ride on many older buses. It brought back many memories of my younger days riding on the 29 bus to work. After spending time around the museum I couldn't wait... more »
I went to the Autumn running day. Parking was at a business park round the corner but with park and ride buses every 10 minutes this wasn’t an issue. At the museum there were buses everywhere constant... more »
It is lovely to see the old buses cared for, enjoyed seeing all the milk floats they've got hidden away too. They have a fun interactive display which is inside, that'll take an hour tops. There is a canteen, selling cakes and cans of drink, do not expect a tea room, the gift shop is for bus enthusiasts, full of old tickets, and photos. There's a mini railway, which costs extra, and a grass space perfect for a picnic. Worth a visit, but don't expect it to take up more than a couple of hours.
Brilliant day out....👍 Plenty of buses and rides....on running days.. They have a museum to visit... There's a café, for light refreshments and a shop, and children's play area.. You can take a ride on the miniature railway. Lovely day out for all the family...😃
My son's loved it, your able to go one some of the buses and as they love anything with wheels and an engine it was perfect. Shame the little train wasn't running on the Sunday but maybe next time. It's a nice cheap day out for the family!
Cute little place to visit for a couple of hours. Interesting walk around the buses and a stop off at the play shed for the little one. Only drawback is the cafe, couldn't stay for lunch which was a shame
A very good place for a day out for all the family if you're into vintage Transport.
