  • Great place to visit for cyclists and non cyclists alike. Some lovely shops, I started my xmas shopping! Food at the cafe is spot on and so cheap. Perfect for a light bite

  • Went today for first time with cycling friend..lovely coffee tasty slice of cake.. clean warm and polite helpful staff. Will come again to try the hot menu.
  • We like this tea room, which has been expanded and improved since we first visited. Friendly and with a good selection of food. We often travel out from Nottingham for no other reason than specifically to have a meal or snack here. It just makes for a very nice afternoon out.
  • Enjoyed a cheese and ham toastie and Bakewell slice in a separate room where dogs were allowed, then climed to the top of the windmill.
  • Visited the windmill yesterday for a coffee & cake break. I have to say after visiting here on many occasions, felt the need to complain about the cake. It was supposed to be chocolate cake, but was extremely dry and certainly did not taste of chocolate! I did return the cake & was given a full refund, but left feeling quite didappointed..
  • I popped in with my family (and two hounds) on the way back from holiday. The venue is very well set out and both the food and the staff are great. Good portions of home style cooking and very nice puddings.
