Historic Site Tourist Spot
Capture the splendor of early-18th-century living at Erddig, one of England’s finest stately homes. Set on 485 hectares (1,200 acres) of country gardens, the house offers a thorough look at the functioning of an 18th-century estate. Tour the upstairs rooms to admire the lavish antique furnishings before heading downstairs to see the servants' quarters and work spaces. Walk or take a horse-drawn carriage ride through the gardens to visit the many outbuildings that line the property. Park for free on site and bring a picnic to enjoy while sitting in the walled garden. Use our Wrexham itinerary planner to add Erddig and other attractions to your Wrexham vacation plans.

  • A great day out for all the family. We had a lovely time. Just the right size to ensure the little ones didn't get too tired. Cafe was ideal for lunch although there are plenty of picnics spots. Only negative was.... check the weather.....!! Outdoor play area was closed due to winds which was a huge disappointment for the children!
