Capture the splendor of early-18th-century living at Erddig, one of England’s finest stately homes. Set on 485 hectares (1,200 acres) of country gardens, the house offers a thorough look at the functioning of an 18th-century estate. Tour the upstairs rooms to admire the lavish antique furnishings before heading downstairs to see the servants' quarters and work spaces. Walk or take a horse-drawn carriage ride through the gardens to visit the many outbuildings that line the property. Park for free on site and bring a picnic to enjoy while sitting in the walled garden. Use our Wrexham itinerary planner to add Erddig and other attractions to your Wrexham vacation plans.
